Abstract
Human beings are social creatures; therefore, their path to happiness passes through society, and this has led to a significant portion of the teachings of divine religions being dedicated to social issues. Contrary to the false perceptions of some hostile or ignorant individuals, Islam, as the most complete monotheistic religion, pays special attention to social issues to the extent that it can be said that none of its religious rulings and obligations are without a social aspect. Even the most private and individual religious duties, if disregarding the fate of the community, will be incomplete and will not be accepted by the divine presence. In this research, using an analytical-descriptive method, the social dimensions of the most important divine obligations, namely prayer, fasting, and pilgrimage, have been examined through the verses of the Holy Quran and the sayings of the Infallibles (P B U H). It has been demonstrated that these commandments possess a very significant social aspect, and anyone who wishes to regard them merely as acts of worship and individual obligations distances themselves from the true philosophy behind their establishment, rendering their actions incomplete and even invalid.
