Journal Article 2025 04 06 .<br /><br />Abstract.<br /><br />This research aims to examine the ultimate goal and purpose of war in Islam with regard to the jihadi verses of the Quran that were revealed during the campaigns of the Prophet of Islam. The main question is: What is the purpose of war in Islam, based on the verses of jihad and the Prophet's life? The hypothesis of this article is that in Islam, the purpose of war is to achieve justice and defend the oppressed. The hypothesis of this article is that in Islam, the realization of justice and the defense of the oppressed are the goals of war, something that has no practical place in the goals of wars in today's world. The research method in this article is to examine, reread, and analyze verses related to jihad in the Holy Quran, considering the reason for revelation and authentic interpretations, as well as historical reports of the Prophet's (PBUH) campaigns based on primary sources. The findings of the article show that war and jihad in Islam have many aspects and are merely a last resort to defend life, religion (Anfal, 61) and the realization of justice (Al-Imran, 169) (Hashr, 1-7). Also, confronting betrayal and breach of covenant (Anfal/58) and establishing lasting peace, restoring and maintaining social security (Hashr: 2-5-11-12) are among the goals of jihad in Islam. Defending the oppressed, eradicating oppression and sedition has a special place in the verses of the Quran (Al-Baqarah, 193). The intention of jihad in Islam is in the way of Allah (Al-Imran: 139-153) and victories belong to Allah (Al-Anfal, 17) (Al-Fath, 1), (At-Tawbah, 26) and any instrumental use of it is rejected. Also, verse 60 of Al-Anfal refers to the preparation for defense and war whose ultimate goal is peace.<br /><br /><br /><br />Keywords: Quran, Ghazwa, Peace, War, Jihad, Jihad Goals  این پژوهش بر آن است تا غایت و هدف نهایی جنگ در اسلام را با توجه بــه آیــات جهادی قــرآن کــه درروند غزوات پیامبر اســلام نازل شــده اســت بررســی کنــد. ســوال اصلی این اســت که غایت جنگ در اســلام بر اســاس آیــات جهــادی و ســیره نبوی چیســت؟ فرضیه این مقاله این اســت که در اســلام، تحقق عدالت و دفاع از مظلومان غایت جنگ اســت. امری که در جهــان امروز بهصــورت عملی در اهــداف جنگها جایگاهی نــدارد. روش پژوهش، در این مقاله برســی و بازخوانی و تحلیل آیات مرتبط با جهاد در قرآن کریم با توجه به ســبب نزول و تفاســیر معتبر و همچنین گزارش‌های تاریخی غزوات پیامبر (ص) بر اساس منابع دستاول است. یافته‌های مقاله نشان می‌دهد که جنگ و جهاد در اسلام وجوه متعددی دارد و صرفاً به‌مثابه آخرین راهکار برای دفاع از جان، دین، (انفال،/61 ) و تحقق عدالت (آل‌عمران، /169) (حشر، / 7 -1) است. همچنین مقابله باخیانت و نقــض پیمان، (انفال/ 58)و ایجاد صلح پایدار بازگرداندن و اســتمرار امنیت اجتماعی (حشر آیه 12-11-5-2) ازجمله اهداف جهاد در اسلام است. دفاع از مظلومــان، ریشــه‌کن کــردن ظلم و فتنه جایــگاه ویژه‌ای در آیات قــرآن دارد<br />(بقره،/193) نیت جهاد در اســلام فی سبیل الله است (آل‌عمران: آیات 153-139) و پیروزی‌ها از آن خدا است (انفال،/17) (فتح، /1)، (توبه/ 26) و هرگونه استفاده ابزاری از آن مردود است. همچنین آیه 60 انفال، اشاره دارد به آمادگی برای دفاع و جنگی که غایت نهایی آن صلح است. https://qss.basu.ac.ir/article_6318_b0eb9a95e8b085e4025eae2f0d76a6a6.pdf
